A celebrated musician, Rok has won the Valsesia Musica International Violin Competition in 2023. He received the Incentive Prize at the 2022 Fritz Kreisler International Violin Competition, 2nd prize at the Stefanie Hohl Violin Competition, absolute 1st prize at the Young Virtuoso Zagreb International Competition, 1st prize at the TEMSIG National Competition, 1st prize at the Niš International Competition, and became an absolute winner of the Trieste Ars Nova International Competition. He was also a semi-finalist at both the Tchaikovsky and Tretyakov Competitions, and performed at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition. Rok’s extensive soloist's career includes performances of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with the Ljubljana University's Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, earning him the distinguished Prešeren Prize for academic achievement. He has also performed Wieniawski’s 1st Concerto at the Ljubljana Winter Festival, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with the SNG Maribor Symphony Orchestra, and Sibelius’ and Brahms’ Violin Concertos at the finals of the Valsesia Musica Competition.
