The tenor Sehoon Moon from South Korea earned a BA degree in opera singing at Dankook University in Seoul in 2011. He made his debut there in the role of Alfredo Germont in "La Traviata", and Rinuccio in "Gianni Schicchi". That same year, he was awarded second prize in the prestigious International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Austria. Sehoon Moon joined the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in 2013, and performed in a concert at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow in 2014. In 2015, he performed the role of the British delegate in Kyoto in the world première of Giorgio Battistelli’s opera "CO2" at the Teatro alla Scala, and sang the role of Fenton in "Falstaff". In 2016, the singer reached the final of the international competition "Operalia", and of the Francisco Viñas Singing Contest in 2017. This year, Sehoon will make his debut at the Glyndebourne Festival, covering the role of Ernesto in Gaetano Donizetti’s "Don Pasquale".
