The soprano Rosario Aguilar Escamilla started to study singing in 2004 at the National School of Music (ENM), where she received her BA degree. She was a finalist in the Sinaloa International Singing Competition in 2011, and the Carlo Morelli Competition in 2014. She participated in the "Estudio Ópera de Bellas Artes" (EOBA) workshop between 2015 and 2017, and attended master-classes with Ramón Vargas, Arturo Chacón, Javier Camarena, Eilana Lappalainen and Erika Grimaldi. Her repertoire includes chamber music, lieder and mélodie, besides the opera roles of Elisetta ("Il matrimonio segreto"), Donna Elvira ("Don Giovanni"), Violetta ("La Traviata"), Delia ("Il viaggio a Reims"), Sandmännchen ("Hänsel und Gretel"), Frasquita ("Carmen"), and others.
