The soprano Lina Dambrauskaitė completed her MA studies in solo singing this year at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in the class of Professor Sigutė Stonytė. She has already worked with the most famous conductors, composers and performers in Lithuania, and given concerts in Germany, France, Norway, the USA, Russia and South Korea. In 2015, she presented Lithuanian culture at "Expo 2015" in Milan in Italy. She was a laureate of the Vincė Jonuškaitė-Zaunienė Competition in 2016. In 2015, she made her debut at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, where she sang Barbarina in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera "Le Nozze di Figaro". Lina has also created the roles of Thais in Georg Friedrich Händel's oratorio "Alexander's Feast" (at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre), Semele in the opera "Semele" (Baroque Opera Theatre), and Yniold in Claude Debussy's opera "Pelléas and Mélisande" (Vilnius City Opera). She is often invited to perform solo parts in various sacred and symphonic pieces (J.S. Bach's "St John Passion", Franz Schubert's Mass No. 6 in E flat major, Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 4).
