The tenor Oleksandr Chuvpylo was born in Kerche, Ukraine. In 2004, he graduated in music theory from Kharkiv College of Music. In 2011, he graduated with honours from the Kiev National P. Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, where he studied singing (as a lyric baritone) under Valery Buimister. During his studies, Oleksandr prepared the parts of Eugene Onegin ("Eugene Onegin"), Robert ("Iolanta"), Escamillo ("Carmen"), Aleko ("Aleko") and Tobias Mills ("La Cambiale di Matrimonio"). Since 2008, Oleksandr has been a soloist with Ukraine National Operetta, where he has already sung the following parts: Edwin ("Die Csárdásfürstin"), Mr. X ("Die Zirkusprinzessin") and Raoul Delacroix ("Das Veilchen vom Montmartre"). In 2011, after participating in the competition "Operalia Placido Domingo", where he reached the semi-finals, Oleksandr transferred his repertoire to the tenor. In the same year, he became a soloist with Ukraine National Opera, and since 2012 he has also been a soloist with the Ukraine National Philharmonic. Oleksandr's repertoire includes the parts of Alfredo ("La Traviata"), Rodolfo ("La Bohème"), Triquet ("Eugene Onegin"), and many others.
