The soprano Olga Vrešča was born and started studying music in Daugavpils, Latvia, where she studied in the conducting class of the Staņislavs Broks Music College. She won the I Mykolas Kleopas Oginskis Music Competiton and the Teodors Reiters Young Talents Competition. Her first opera part was as Madame Hertz in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's singspiel "Der Schauspieldirektor", which she performed from 2013 to 2016 in Daugavpils Theatre. She graduated from the academic singing class at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music this year. Olga has also participated in the Erasmus exchange programme, and studied at Vienna Conservatory. In 2015 and in 2017, she became a laureate of the Inese Galante Young Talents Competition.
