The soprano Karolina Glinskaitė was born in Lithuania. After studying at the Klaipėda Stasys Šimkus Conservatory, she entered the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2008, where she studied under Professor Virgilijus Noreika. In the 2014-2015 season, Karolina served an internship at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, where she created the roles of Annina and Giovanna in Giuseppe Verdi's operas "La Traviata" and "Ernani", and sang the part of Leonor in Ludwig van Beethoven's opera "Fidelio". She has participated in master-classes led by Pablo de Napoli (Italy), L. Marcossi (Italy), M. Boronni (Italy), Thomas E. Bauer (Germany), J. Barry (USA), H. Luyten (Belgium), Josef Wallnig (Austria) and the "Nordopera“ network (Latvia). She has participated in performances of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Requiem" (organised by "Artis Opera") and Vilnius City Opera, and participated in international music festivals such as "Morellino Classica Festival Internazionale di Scansano" (Italy), "Triomphe de l’Art Music" (Belgium), "Returns", "Kristupas Summer Festival", and others. Karolina is also a member of the Classical and jazz music quartet "Baroque Contempo".
