Eva Ter-Sarkisova was born in Riga, Latvia, and has been learning to play the violin since the age of 3. Since 2016, she has been a full time student at the Emils Darzins Special Secondary Music School in Riga. She combined school curriculum with participation in many masterclasses and specialized programmes, including a programme for foreign students at the Central Musical School of Moscow with prof. G. S. Turchaninova (2012-2014), and multiple masterclass sessions with prof. Zakhar Bron in Interlaken, Switzerland, which was followed by the performances in final concerts (2014-2016). She also took part in masterclasses conducted by prof. Petru Munteanu in Schöntal, Germany (2015).
From April 2017, Eva participated in multi-stage auditions and was admitted to the Yehudi Menuhin School in Surrey County, United Kingdom, where she was studying in the class of prof. Lutsia Ibragimova. After graduating with highest honors, Eva was accepted into the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, in the class of the first concertmaster of Vienna Symphony Orchestra prof. Anton Sorokow. A second-year student, she is already a 2nd prize winner of the Stefanie Hohl Competition. In addition to studies and masterclasses, Eva Ter-Sarkisova participated and became a winner and laureate of more than 20 international competitions.
