Lisa Yasuda, born in Nagoya, Japan, began her violin studies at the age of six with Pierre Amoyal. Before her studies at the Music High School of the Tokyo University of the Arts, Lisa had entered the Special Soloist Program at the Tokyo University of the Arts, which boasts a history of over 130 years since its foundation in 1878. She continued her studies at the Toho Gakuen School of Music under Takashi Shimizu. Lisa won numerous prizes at many competitions, including grand prix at the Singapore Violin Festival-Competition, 1st prize at the Beethoven International Violin Competition, 2nd prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians, Kloster Schöntal International Violin Competition, Shlomo Mintz International Violin Competition, and at the Singapore International Violin Competition. Lisa has debuted as a soloist with renowned orchestras, such as the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra and the Brasov Philharmonic Orchestra in Romania. As an avid performer, she has given many performances in various countries, including Japan, Belgium, Singapore, China, Kazakhstan, Kirghiz, Uzbekistan, Russia, Romania, Italy, Austria and Germany. She also played a recital as an artist of the Chanel Pygmalion Days in Tokyo, 2022. She is a scholarship holder of both the ROHM Music Foundation and the Yamaha Music Foundation.
