Chan Heung Min (*2000), born in Korea, started playing the cello at the age of 9. He studied at the Korea NI for Gifted in Arts, Korea NU of Arts (Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Kang-ho Lee) and the University of Music Lübeck (Troels Svane). He is a winner of 1st prize at the David Popper International Competition Busan, MBC Music Competition, a recipient of Best Award and Suwon Music Award in Sungjung Music Competition. He has performed in Kirishima International Festival and Indiana University, given recitals in Knua Series and Kumho Art Hall, performed with the Busan Philharmonic Orchestra, Just Vivace Festival Orchestra and TIMF Orchestra, taken part in master classes with David Geringas, Frans Helmerson, Philippe Muller, Jens Peter Maintz and others.
