Jizheng Fang, 18, first began cello lessons at the age of 5 (Xisheng Zhang). In 2015, he enrolled at the Shanghai Conservatory Affiliated Secondary School (prof. Weiping Chen). Jizheng is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree studies in cello performance at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music Berlin (prof. Claudio Bohoquez). Jizheng was a prize winner at the Sfashensky IMC (2021, St. Petersburg), Klaipėda ICC (2019), 20th ICC (Spain), 12th Antonio Janigro ICC. Jizheng participated in master classes with Danjulo Ishizaka and Arto Noras. He has also taken part in the Young Artist Summer Program at Curtis, Westmont Academy for Young Artists, and the Colburn Chamber Intensive in the USA.
