Since their encounter in 2017 at Indiana University Bloomington, and during respective studies under Peter Stumpf and Menahem Pressler, the Korean-Canadian cellist Edward Cho and French-American pianist Mathilde Handelsman have performed as a duo across North America and Europe. In 2020, the Cho-Handelsman Duo received guidance from renown Irish pianist John O’Conor in a chamber music masterclass. Recent highlights include performances in Paris, France at the “Dimanches Musicaux” of the Arts George V concert series, in multiple concerts in the Washington D.C. area, as well as the Emerson Avenue Salons in Virginia.
