Kalkamankyzy Zhanerke (*2009 ), born in Kazakhstan, studies the cello with prof. Akmaral Emreyeva at the Kazakh Special Music School named after Akhmet Zhubanov. Laureate of national and international competitions in Turkey (2019), Almaty (2nd prize in Republican contest of musical art, 2017; 1st prize in A.Zhubanov International Competition for Young Performers, 2018; 2nd prize in International Competition-Festival PRIMA-NOTA FEST, 2021; Grand Prix in Republican contest of young performers of Kazakhstan, 2022), Taldykorgan (3rd prize in “Zhas Sheberler”, 2022), Batumi (1st prize in “Silk Way”, 2020). Took part in masterclasses led by professors Denis Severin, Razvan Suma and Aizhan Dzhulmukhamedova.
