Mykhailo Synchyshyn started playing the cello at the age of 6. He studied with Zamkov Artem. Mykhailo is a winner of numerous national and international competitions: the 28th Concours Flame (2017, 2nd prize, Paris), the International Klaipėda Cello Competition (2019, 1st prize), Young Ludwig Youth Music Competition (online) (2020, 3rd prize, Germany), the 16th International Jan Vychytil Cello Competition (2022, 1st and special prizes, Czech Republic). He participated in masterclasses led by Alexii Shadrin, Santiago Cañón-Valencia, prof. Thomas Grossenbacher, prof. Rafael Rosenfeld. Since 2022, Mykhailo has been studying with prof. Denis Severin in Zakhar Bron School of Music in Zurich.
