Saulė Buikaitė is studying at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, in the violin class of prof. Rūta Lipinaitytė. She is a laureate of many national competitions, and has also won 1st prizes at the VII and VIII Stockholm International Music Competition, the International Competition "Music Without Borders", the II and III International Competition "Baltic Strings", the International V. Radovičius Competition for Young String Players, and the grand prix at the IV International E. Mikeladze Competition for Young Musicians. Saulė is a scholarships holder of the K. Motieka Foundation, and the President A. Smetona Prize winner, and has been awarded a letter of appreciation from President Dalia Grybauskaitė for promoting the name of Lithuania, as well as the Little St. Christopher's Award for the promotion of capital Vilnius. As a soloist, Saulė has performed at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, Kaunas State Philharmonic, Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, and in various ensembles at the Berlin Philharmonic and other venues in the Baltics, Ukraine, Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, Israel and elsewhere. She is a member of a piano trio and a string quartet. She also participated in the European Chamber Music Academy sessions and courses in Vilnius and Paris in 2024, and was awarded 1st prize and grand prix at the XXIII International Lithuanian Composers' Chamber Music Performance Competition. Saulė Buikaitė has attended masterclasses conducted by such pedagogues and performers as B. Garlitski, D. Sitkovetsky, B. Brovtsyn, P. Jüdt, A. Koyoumdjian, J. Meissl, among the others.
