Soprano Idil Kutay did her Master’s in Opera Performance at the Dutch National Opera Academy, where she has performed the roles of Cornelia (Cleopatra e Cesare), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Cendrillon (Cendrillon) and Beth March (Little Women). She is one of the fifteen young talented musicians to receive the Dr. Nejat Eczacibasi Foundation Music Scholarship and the Scholarship of Excellence from the Royal Conservatoire the Hague where she obtained her Bacherlor’s degree with distinction. She is the second prize winner in the 2019 International Singing Competition Alīda Vāne in Latvia, and one of the Final Round participants in the 2022 International Singing Competition Neue Stimmen in Gütersloh, Germany.
