Armenian baritone Grisha Martirosyan graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory in Armenia.
He performed the roles of Tonio (Pagliacci) and Dr Malatesta (Don Pasquale) (excerpts) in Venice's La Fenice theatre at Mascarade Opera Studio summer
showcase.
He is to join the Royal Opera House as a member of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme for 2023-25 seasons.
His prizes include the 2nd and audience prize in 14th Magda Olivero International Singing Competition, and 1st prize in Gohar Gasparian Armenian National Singing Competition 2019. He also have won the 1st prize at Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition 2022, where he also received the Audience prize and Dame Joan Sutherland prize presented by Richard Bonynge.
