A native of Seoul, Korea, Min Jae Back first started the piano at age 11. Back's extraordinary talent immediately was aknowledged by winning many prizes in pretigious competitions. After graduating from Yewon Arts School, he moved on to attending the Seoul Arts High School. During his first semester at Seoul Arts High School, he was accepted to Universität der Künste Berlin(UDK) and studied with Professor Markus Groh. and He is studying Master degree with professor Mi-Joo Lee. As the Grand Prize winner of Haneum Competition, 1st Prize at Seoul Arts High School Competition and Ricard Vines Piano Youth International Competition, he has performed with the Haneum Philharmonic Orchestra and appeared in solo recital at Enric Granados Auditorium, Lleida, Spain. He continues to maintain his solid reputation both as a performer on stage and as a promising aspiring musician.
