Panxi Ma was born in Beijing and began her musical studies at age of 4. Currently, she is student at the high school attached to the Central Conservatory of Music, where she is working under the guidance of prof. Weijian Tang (since 2020). Panxi has entered and won numerous international competitions, such as the XXX International Andrea Postacchini Violin Competition (2nd prize, 2023), the Singapore International Violin Competition(1st prize and absolute-winner prize, 2022). She has also won the principal awards at the Tokyo International Music Competition (1st prize, 2022), and the American Music Talents Competition (1st prize, 2022).
