Rusudan Chuntishvili is an organist, pianist and music therapist from the republic of Georgia. She has been playing piano since an early age. Studied at the Central Music School in Tbilisi and then at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire from which she graduated with bachelor degree in piano performance in 2016. She also studied music therapy (MA) at Illinois State University as a Fulbright scholar. As for the organ, she fell in love with the instrument while taking the elective course at the conservatoire and decided to pursue it further. She received a full scholarship to study organ performance (MA) at Tbilisi State Conservatoire in 2021, in the class of Lia Baidoshvili. A year after, she participated in the Erasmus program and continued her studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under the guidance of prof. Andres Uibo and Toomas Trass. In spring 2023, she graduated from the program with honors. Rusudan enjoys performing both solo and ensemble repertoire and has been participating in various projects. She has been particularly actively engaged in the project An hour with organ with the goal of promoting organ music in Georgia.
