Janne Oksanen (b. 1994) played his first recital at the age of 15 and since then he has performed widely in Finland, Europe and USA. His debut album "Kuula: The Piano Works" was released worldwide by Alba Records this year, followed by a 30-date concert tour. Pianist has been succesful in various national and international competitions such as Helmi Vesa (2019), Nordic Piano Competition in Sweden (2017), Madetoja Piano Competition (2012) and Citta di Ghioggia in Italy (2009). The pianist has performed as soloist with Academy Winds, Vantaa Youth and Tapiola Youth symphony orchestras as well as Sibelius Academy Kapubändi. Oksanen is interested in pedagogics as well. The Taubman Approach healed his long-term playing injuries in 2017 and he has been studying and teaching this approach ever since.
