Yuna Dierstein (*2007) took her first cello lesson at the age of 4. She studied with Anne-Katrin Beller, Markus Tillier, Beverley Ellis, prof. Jean-Guihen Queyras. Since 2022, she is a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy Liechstenstein (prof. Jens-Peter Maintz). Yuna took part in master classes led by prof. Roel Dieltiens and Peter Thieman among others. She also studies with prof. Christoph Dangel (baroque cello). She has won numerous 1st prizes in national youth competitions, as well as in the International Music Competition Musica Goritiensis (2022, Italy) and the International Dotzauer-Competition (2022, Germany). She is a permanent member of both the Baden-Württemberg State Youth Baroque Orchestra (LJBO) and the Bundejugendorchester (BJO).
