Artemy Sokolovsky is a Russian-Israeli pianist. He was born on June 12, 2004, in Moscow. There, he studied at the Moscow Gnessin Special School of Music in the class of Pr. Elena Berezkina. He started learning to play the piano at Polenov’s Art and Music School in the class of M. Shlykova when he was 5. Later, he studied at Osipov’s Music School. Now, Artemy Sokolovsky is a student at the Franz Liszt University in Weimar in the piano class of Prof. Michail Lifits. Artemy wrote his first melody at the age of 4. At the age of 7, he performed on the stage of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Since then, he has participated in numerous festivals, tours, and music projects. He performs solo programs and is a soloist with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and piano duos. He is a winner of numerous international contests for young musicians: the First prize and Special Audience prize of the 4th Russian Piano Music (RPM) Competition in Sanremo (Italy, 2023), the First prize and Special Audience prize of the Silvio Bengalli Piani Prize in Pianello Vam Tidone (Italy, 2023), Winner of the Global Televised Music Competition Classicalia (2022), First prize award, and Special Diploma issued by Fryderyk Chopin Society in Poland (Established in 1934) for the Best Performance of Chopin Work at the International Chopin Avenue Piano Competition (Hong Kong, China, 2021), Laureate of the XII Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford (the USA, 2021), etc.
