Nirvana is 13 years old and has been playing violin since the age of 5. Previously she had been training with Emanuela Buta, and she has been studying under Rodney Friend for the last two years. She was awarded with the Fritz Kreisler Cup for her recital performances at the Coulsdon & Purley Festival in 2021, 2022 and 2023, and the Founders Cup in 2023 for the solo performance. As a member of the Eltham College Purcell chamber group, she won the Pro Corda National Chamber Music Festival 2024, in U16 catergory. This year in March, she has a solo performance at Blackheath Halls in London, accompanied by the Eltham College Symphony Orchestra. In May, she will give another solo performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and will be accompanied by the All Souls Orchestra at their annual flagship event - Prom Praise 2024.
