Elza Siliņa started playing violin at the age of six with her teacher Elizabete Goļikova. Elza is a laureate of several international competitions, including the International Louis Spohr Competition for Young Violinists in Weimar, Germany. She regularly participates in masterclasses with renowned violin professor Mihaela Martin to improve her violin skills. Elza performs in classical music festivals and other events, has given concerts in Latvia, also in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Estonia, Lithuania and elsewhere. She is currently continuing her studies with Antti Kortelainen.
